The castiron Castings confirm to IS-210/1993.The Unit is so designed keeping in view of the interchangeable parts, hence main drive pulley can be easily detached from main pulley boss. Same way gear can also be detached from main pulley boss. Even backlash can be adjusted after certain use. An oil seal has been provided in front cover of worm shaft to avoid oil leakage.
The S4 Duty electric motor used has fins for cool thermic effect and bush bearing for smooth and silent operations. Rotor is of double cage copper bars, dynamically Balanced.
